Slim Shady. Marshal Mathers. Eminem. You know him as one of the hottest lyricists of all time, being the only artist to have eight albums chart #1 on the Billboard 200, and is among the world’s best-selling artists of all time with over 49.1 Million albums sold in the US alone (as of this writing). Shady is a true image of a hustler, and has the accolades to prove it- we know for sure, the game without him would feel a lot more empty.

Considered perhaps the GOAT of lyricists in the game, his influence can be heard everywhere- having started off hustling on the rap battle scene and slipping his mixtape into an Interscope Records staff’s bag, which ended making its way to Dr. Dre. Through the Slim Shady alter ego, Em was able to give a face to the homelife troubles he was experiencing, which ultimately found a home in many young rappers struggling with their own similar issues.

As he grew, Mathers transformed from a pill poppin’ addicted rapper to an inspiration, and his lyrics were made to match. Just as Eminem evolved, so too did the topics he rapped about- from violence and addiction, the self-struggle of a single father, soldiering on and overcoming himself, past the point ‘till he’d collapse Slim realized he was a Cinderella Man that simply was Not Afraid. Clowning aside, his hard hitting lyricism echoed with the audience and is perhaps why he’s considered one of the greatest of all time.

Eminem’s style doesn’t need a lot of flash or hip hop jewelry to make an impact- he’s a soldier through and through, brought up on the streets and a true man of hustle. Slim spits venom so fast some would call him a Rap God, his flow so smooth you just Lose Yourself in it. Hip Hop Bling’s hip hop jewelry will help you rep like Stan even if you’re living in 8 Mile, with bling bling jewelry for every hustler puttin' in work. Scope dog tag hip hop jewelry pendants if you’re a soldier of the streets, and cop a bling bling jewelry watch so all the crew and rap battle opponents know what it’s like to be friends with The Monster.

From D12 to Slim Shady and Aftermath to Shady Records and today’s Eminem that’s slinging fire at Donald Trump, Eminem has been a figure of polarizing controversy and a unifying symbol. A man who’s given vocals to the fight we feel, a reason to Shake That Ass when we’re down and the bars to go past the point of collapse make him a legend tier hip hop artist right along there with the best.
