6ix9ine is nothing if not colorful and full of drama - as one of the most controversial figures in rap currently, he loves the notoriety and now he may actually be using the attention for some good.

In a video made after his early release that's since been deleted, Tekashi called out his fellow New York rappers, saying they were bums if they bought luxury items but weren't able to donate to their local communities.

In the video Tekashi said rappers claiming they're "king" or the "prince" of New York but "put on nothing for the city." New York has been hit the hardest by the COVID-19 pandemic, but 69 claims his fellow spitters were doing nothing for those in need.

"IF YOU A RAPPER FROM NEW YORK AND YOU AINT GOT ATLEAST 100K TO GIVE BACK TO OUR CITY FOR PEOPLE IN NEED YOURE A BUM," 6ix9ine wrote. "GOD GIVES YOU A GIFT ITS NOT JUST FOR YOU ITS TO HELP OTHERS IN NEED. BROKE N*GGAS GONNA IGNORE IT."

This note has been interpreted as a jab at Lil TJay, whom recently claimed he was the King of New York - peep the vid below and let us know what you think.
