Elon Musk Issues Formal Apology for Smoking Weed with Joe Rogan
Marijuana is the fancy term for weed, and when it's used in place you know some serious shit is about to go down - such is the case with Elon Musk, CEO of SpaceX whom was forced to apologize for smoking marijuana with the notorious Joe Rogan.
On the infamous episode of the Joe Rogan Experience, Elon lit up a fat doob that has caused him to do damage control even though the event was back in 2018. According to Complex, Elon even went so far as to send an employee-wide internal email apologizing for the behavior calling it "unwise," and encouraging a drug-free workplace.
“SpaceX personnel may not use or possess any controlled substance while in the workplace, and also may not be under the influence of legal or illegal drugs while at work,” Elon wrote in the email. “Anyone who appears to be inebriated or under the influence while at work is subject to drug testing and potentially other employment actions.”
For a company involved in major NASA contracts and launching DOD satellites, you'd think Elon would be a bit more conscious of his actions - but he was the CEO who invented the "not a flamethrower" device. His time with Rogan apparently prompted a review by NASA of SpaceX's workplace safety conduct.
