During COVID Lil Wayne has been entertaining fans with his Young Money Radio  podcast where he spends a minute speaking with famous folks and talk about their careers. In a more recent podcast Wheezy mentioned producer tags at the start of songs, and how he thought the tag "Wheezy outta here" (used by the producer Wheezy) was a shout out to none other than #1.

"That's my favorite tag. I don't know why that's my favorite tag, but that's my favorite tag," Lil Wayne said. "Probably my favorite new producer, too, so send me some beats, Wheezy Outta Here." Wayne stopped for a minute before continuing with the rest of his story. "I ain't even gonna tell you... First of all, I thought when I first heard that—like I told y'all, I don't know nothin' 'bout nothin', so when I first heard those beats, those songs with 'Wheezy Outta Here,' I just thought that was Future shouting me out every time."

Lil Wayne took a minute to laugh at his own mistake, saying "Call me vain, I don't know what you gon' call me." Wheezy continued "I was like man—I had to ask Mack [Maine]. You know I gotta ask Mack everything. I had to ask Mack, 'Why that n*gga Future keep shouting me out on people's songs and they ain't even talking about me on the song!"  Listen to Wheezy chuckle at his own mistakes below.
