The Weeknd Takes To The Gram Shows Off His "New Face" Again

Weeks after he debuted 'the look', The Weeknd is spotted again with his "new face".

The Weeknd has carefully, and masterfully, curated every single detail around the After Hours Album Era, creating a new persona for himself that was unlike anything he had done before in his music career. The now world-famous singer began this persona with a bloody nose, taking things a step further by wearing a surgical wrap to cover his face. Finally, in the complete reveal, The Weeknd took off his cover in his new music video for "Save Your Tears" to reveal his new face and fans were stunned.

The singer has dedicated himself to complete the new look, spending hours in the makeup room having prosthetics added to ensure its realness. A special effects mastermind made it possible to have it look as though The Weeknd had in fact undergone extreme plastic surgery, with strong cheekbones and fillers. The look received a lot of attention online, with some people seriously believing that the artist had gotten a botched plastic surgery look and failing to realize that he was in the midst of some amazing performance art.
