Tekashi 6ix9ine, or Daniel Hernandez is part of the new wave of mumble trappers adding rock back into the game, the same crew as XXXtencion, Lil Xan, Lil Pump and the whole Gucci Gang. With a style that can best be described as “skittles,” Tekashi is the definition of the new wave of rappers- he’s doing his best to hustle and already has a platinum single to his name, so obviously there’s something to his hip hop style.
So far 69 has made a name for himself with a hard hitting spitting style that’s in your face, likely due in part to his rough upbringing- during the 8th grade he was expelled from school and never returned. Tekashi really got his break with a song performed with Trippie Redd which saw him turned into an internet meme due to his colorful appearance, however he leveraged that notoriety with his debut single Gummo that peaked at #12 on the top 100 list.
As far as style goes, 6ix9ine has been using is fame and notoriety to cop the chains and grillz he could never afford before. Known for his rainbow grillz,
Tekashi has been copping new pieces left and right, including bling bling bracelets, iced out watches and all the fresh diamond pieces you could dream of. If you’re about that bling bling life, hit up Hip Hop Bling today for the biggest baller chains and iced out jewelry around.
What’s Tekashi up to today? Tekashi’s out with Fefe, featuring Niki Minaj and Murda Beatz- this kid may have dropped some topping beats, but he’s faced with a minimum of 3 years in prison for a multitude of felony charges, breaking his probation and failing to get his GED. We wish him well, but he’s got a whole host of issues to deal with if he’s ever looking to break it big in the hip hop game.
