Hip Hop Community Unites Together After Announcement of Dr. Dre Brain Aneurysm
With the recent and unfortunate news of Dr. Dre's Aneurysm, it is comforting to see and hear that the collective Hip Hop Community has come together in his support. Word first came of the medical emergency last night and the hip hop world experienced a collective scare as they learned Dr. Dre was in the ICU recovering from a brain aneurysm.
Given the serious nature of this type of medical emergency, many were then forced to consider the distressing reality of the worst possible outcome. Thankfully, Dr. Dre appears to be recovering and even took to instagram to give updates on his medical status. Dr. Dre revealed that he was recovering, "doing great and getting excellent care from my medical team." All the while, Dre's many friends, fans, and collaborators took to social media to voice their appreciation, wishing him a healthy recovery and offering thoughts and prayers.
