Lil Kim Wants To Work With Lady Gaga, Talks Drake
Queen Bee is no stranger to the game, and over her long tenured time Lil' Kim has collaborated with a wide range of artists, to bring her hits like Lady Marmalade and Crush on You to life. But just like everyone else out there hustling she's hungry - in this case potentially for more than one thing.
Throughout her career though, there are artists she's been pining to work with, most notably among them Lady Gaga and Drake. Sitting down with SeriousXM Radio, host Bevy Smith asked if there were ever any artists that flat out denied her requests to collab - thankfully that never seemed to be the case
"I don't think so... I mean, I don't really ask people," she said. "A lot of people may do it for me and then whatever. I don't know if it was a decline. I know there's times when I wanted to work with people and schedules didn't permit it, and we're still trying 'til this day to make it happen."
While there may have never been those to turn her down, there are still some artists she'd like to get in the studio with.
"I think me and Lady Gaga could do something special," the rapper said. "And Drake, maybe. You know I love him. That's different. We'll do a lot of other things special, too," she joked. "He's just very talented. He's funny. He's cool. He's really, really cute."
