Wiz Khalifa Responds To Diss, Cardi B Responds
For those whom care the Grammy Season is always full of controversy, especially once the nominations are first announced. We recently received the full list of which celebrities may or may not take home an award.
After a Twitter user made a diss aimed towards Cardi B, Wiz Khalifa responded, and Cardi came with her claws out. When a Nicki Minaj fan realized Cardi got a nomination and Nicki didn't, they tweeted that this "is the biggest proof that they don't know a sh*t bout music." Wiz seemingly credited the post by retweeting it and saying "Most self made artists have this problem."
"I don't understand why n*ggas entertain tweets that pit successful women against each other?" Cardi wrote. "Ya not tired of that? Specially when ya was rooting hard when a b*tch was at the bottom." Cardi then went on to share a DM screenshot she had saved earlier in her career that Wiz had sent saying:
"your doing a great job and the way you address things is admirable. Keep your light shining and don't let others take it."
Wiz came back with "Damn that wuz good advice. I still support u. Nothings changed. Your self made in my book as well." Some fans thought that Wiz shouldn't even be entertaining the conversation - the artist just doesn't want a Cardi B / Wiz war, and just wanted to clear the air.
