Amethyst Amelia Kelly, an Australian bikini model and rapper took up the name Iggy Azalea and moved to the US to pursue her own fabled dream career in hip hop. While the road has had its high points for the Aussie rapper, more recent events and Gram posts have been hinting at a rift between her and her label. Always a controversial figure, in time Iggy made it into the mainstream hearts and minds of the internet, and to where she is today. One undeniable part of Iggy’s story though is her dedication to hip hop, and that hip hop jewelry style.

Iggy put in time before her raps were ever heard- originally bouncing around the US when she first landed, a meeting with an Interscope employee convinced her to move to L.A., wherein she released her first official mixtape Ignorant Art. With appearances from YG, Joe Moses and others, the controversial song Pu$y was made an internet favorite, much thanks to the visuals as much as the music.

Facing label issues, Iggy bounced around releasing tracks with a variety of names ranging from T.I. to Diplo, Pusha T and B.o.B.- it was really her relationship with A$ap Rocky that pushed her music into greater mainstream appeal , with Fancy and Problem gaining massive popularity, hitting #1 and #2 on the US Billboard hot 100 chart respectively.

When it comes to fashion, Iggy Azalea’s style’s on point, with iced out rings, beautiful bling bling earrings and some dope fashion hip hop necklaces that have been displayed in racy photos. Iggy isn’t one to shy away from showing skin, and her bling bling bracelets on display with some of her modeling gigs are as lit as some of the bars she spits.

Iggy has had a host of label issues throughout the years that almost seem as bad as Wayne’s beef with Birdman (seriously though, will we ever see Tha Carter V?). Between making celebrity appearances on The X Factor Australia and appearing on multiple collabs, Iggy has been taking a more and more active Instagram presence ever since she signed with Wilhelmina International modeling agency. With her current label issues and recent nude photoshoots, fans are starting to believe she may be switching from an XXL Freshman to Instagram model who occasional drops beats.
